ERA Realty Network Expands Its Market Share in the GCB Segment

Singapore, 14 October 2014 – ERA Realty Network, Singapore’s largest real estate agency today announced that a group of 60 salespersons from JLL Residential has joined the company. Specializing in Good Class Bungalow (GCB) and landed deals, this group has brokered numerous property transactions and was consecutively the Top Division in JLL Residential for 2012 and 2013. With them coming on board, ERA’s penetration and share of this very niche market segment will be further enhanced.Heading the group is GCB’s sales veteran Mr. Henry Lim, who has been in the industry for the past 20 years. Over these years, Mr Lim concluded deals with an estimated total sales value of about $1 billion. In an arena where specialization is key, Mr Lim’s extensive knowledge and network are highly valued by customers and industry practitioners. A recent high profile GCB deal estimated at S$20 million in the Tanglin Road vicinity was brokered by Mr Lim’s teammate Mr. Bernard Wu, who was the 2013 Top Landed Salesperson in JLL Residential.

ERA Realty Network continues to dominate as Singapore’s largest real estate agency when it once again topped Singapore Business Review’s second annual ranking of the largest real estate agencies based on the city’s number of real estate salespersons. The data obtained at
September from the Council for Estate Agencies showed that ERA’s total of 5,911 salespersons was up by 16%. ERA’s number of salespersons has since October, surpassed the 6,000 mark. The company is the first in its industry to attain this record number. “We have always endeavoured to provide a people-centric environment and this exceptional number in salespersons is an affirmation that we have a good formula that has made a difference.” The company was also recently conferred the 2014 Most Influential Brand.
